Following the new naira redesign policy which had caused serious cash problem in different parts of the country (Nigeria).
The Kaduna, Zamfara and Kogi state governors had laid a suit against the Buhari-led administration and Emefiele seeking a restrain order to stop the full implementation of naira redesigning policy of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Stating that their worries lies on the effect of the policy on the residents of the states in question.
They went further to plead with the apex court to grant them an interim injunction to halt the Federal government policy in proceeding further on ending the date of the usage of the old naira notes.
