Ahead of the gubernatorial race, the governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party SDP, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi OON has taking his campaign to Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta state with his entourage; the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Rosemary Isioma Oshilim, Campaign Director General of his council, Prof Jiff Mokobia, SDP candidate, Amb. Prince Igho Sadjere and other SDP faithfuls to deliver his good news of Liberate Delta to the church and the people of Isoko South.

This campaign visit took place on Thursday 26th January, 2023 at Oleh Local Government Area of Delta state.

It was a very remarkable one as Gbagi storms the St John’s Cathedral church Oleh to also deliver his liberation message where he reveals to the church that, the only way forward for Delta state is to either vote out the bad government so peace and development can come into existence in the state or remain in the bondage of the ruling party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Gbagi as a liberator also maintained that, the church should not be deceived anymore but note that they have a prominent role to play in politics and should stop shying away from it as God is not an author of confusion.

In his statement, he expressed: “A bad government affects the church more than any other body and the recipient of bad government is the church because in the church, you have market women, vulcanizers, tailors, preachers, others.

“Everyone congregates in the church because of bad government, if the church has 200 people attending the church every Sunday, what you have now is about 100 and the reason is that they don’t have means of transportation and to attend church service.

“They cannot eat well, so even if they come to church, they cannot pay tithes and offerings. So, the effect of a bad government wires the church more than an ordinary man in the society. In Delta the church has about 94% of the population as churchgoers.

“If I don’t emerge as Governor, it means the church has failed me and themselves because I don’t have any other power”.

Also in attendance was the leaders of the church to mention but few were; was Rt. Reverend John Usiwoma Aruakpor, Vice President and Legal adviser of the body, Arch Bishop Barrister Ajaigho, Secretary, Bishop Ben E. Treasurer, Bishop Sam O. and other executives of the Isoko church leaders forum.

At the end, Gbagi unveils some of his practicable plans to liberate Isoko South Local government from the arrested development of the ruling party which infested poverty, underdevelopment and insecurity in the local government and the state in general.

He went further to point out few resources like the (rice mills and the N30,000 monthly stipend) he can leverage on to tackle poverty and eradicate insecurity from the local government areas to the state level which is from grass to grace in Delta state.

In same vein, the spokesperson for the council made his remark condemning the lukewarm attitude of the present government on the hard bite of fuel scarcity on the indegenes of Delta state and assured the church and the people of Oleh in Isoko South that partnering with Gbagi will be a win-win situation as he is the only candidate with sincere vision and mission for Delta state.

He said, “The partnership between SDP candidate Olorogun Barrister Kenneth Gbagi OON and the church is a commendable one and because of this partnership, success is sure”.

He went further to encourage Isoko South to support Gbagi for Governor and vote for SDP for Progress to come.

Support Gbagi for Governor!

Vote SDP for Progress!

We Moove!
