The Independent Petroleum Marketers of Nigeria (IPMAN) has expressed its solidarity with Nigerians celebrating Christmas in the midst of hardship occasioned by the lingering fuel scarcity.
“IPMAN felicitates Nigerians especially the Christians as they celebrate this year’s Christmas,” read a statement by the group’s national president Debo Ahmed on Sunday.
“I also use this opportunity to associate with everyone on the trying times we are all facing in the PMS distribution in the country.”
The IPMAN president enjoined his members to cooperate with the national oil company, NNPC Ltd, as it makes “serious efforts in increasing importation.”
“This will enable the populace to travel freely without much effect on the cost of movement. We remain partners for a new Nigeria,” he stated.
