Flood: Gbagi Sues Okowa-Led Government To Rise Up to It’s Constitutional Responsibility 

…charges state government to evacuate affected citizens of Ughelli South, others to IDP camps.

Recently, the Delta state gubernatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Olorogun (Barr) Kenneth Gbagi FNIM OON has charged Okowa led government to own up to its constitutional responsibility by Evacuating Ughelli south and all other communities that the flood has rendered inhabitable in Delta State to Hotels, temporarily IDP camps that is suitable for human habitation and provide Adequate food of 3 square meals with Immediate effect.

Gbagi described the situation as been pathetic and traceable to negligence and lack of foresight from the Okowa-led government as the citizenry cannot be blamed for the irresponsibility of Government.

In the light of the above, Gbagi insist that Government without delay should do what they swore to oath to do for it’s citizens as insensitivity and negligence will not just destroy more lives but cause more damage to the entire state
