Gbagi Laments Over Flood Disaster In His Community, Oginibo

The Delta state gubernatorial candidate of Social Democratic Party(SDP), Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi has lamented at the recent flood disaster that has affected over 46 communities and his environ at Oginibo haven in Ughelli South Local Government of Delta state.

The recent National flood disaster continues unabated.

 

This disaster was said to have claimed over 46 communities in Ughelli North and Ughelli South Local Government Areas of Delta Central Senatorial District.

 

It was also noted that many families were currently displaced even goods, farms and properties worth millions of Naira also destroyed.

 

However, the community report states that among the communities affected was Oginibo Town where the foremost governorship aspirant hails from in Ughelli South and others include: Okpavuerhe-Olomu, Ophori-Olomu, Akperhe-Olomu, Oviri-Olomu, Umolo-Olomu, Agbon-Olomu, Aloba-Olomu, Ovwodokpokpor-Olomu, Ogoni-Olomu, Okpare-Olomu, Effurun-Otor, Otegbo, Egbo-Ideh, Otutuama, Okwagbe, Ekrokpe, Iwhrogun, Esaba, Ophorigbala, Otu-Jeremi, Erhuwaren and Obi-Ayagha.

 

And the affected communities in Ughelli North Local Government Area includes: Evwreni, Unenurhie, Uwherun Town, Ohoro and Agadama communities with several farms, properties and other means of livelihood completely damaged by the flood, leaving many people devastated and displaced.

The former Minister of State Education, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi therefore sympathises with the affected communities and beckon on the authorities in charge to quickly come to their aid.
