…well deserved honour
The President of Nigeria, Commander-in-Chief of the Federation, President Muhammadu Buhari will on October 11th, 2022 confer a National Award titled: Officer of the Order of Niger (OON) to the Delta state gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic party (SDP) for 2023, Olorogun (Barr) Kenneth Gbagi FNIM.
The selection of Kenneth Gbagi (OON) for the award was conveyed in a letter sent by the Minister of Special Duties and lnter-Government Affairs, Sen.George Akume.
According to the content of the said letter, Sen. Akume stated that approval for the award to be conferred on Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi (OON) was given by President Buhari and the ceremony is expected to hold at the international conference centre, Abuja at exactly 9am prompt.
Prof Atubi Augustus confirmed the content of letter from Sen. Akume to Chief Gbagi he reads, “l have the honour to formally inform you that the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Mohammadu Buhari has approved the conferment of the National Honour on you, in the rank of OON (Officer of the order of the Niger)”.
