Ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial and Presidential race, the Delta state 2023 gubernatorial candidate, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi who was the former Minister of State Education, a core Industrialist and Philiantropist joined forces with the 2023 Presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo who is present in Warri, Delta state to grace events that matters and ensure SDP do the needful to take over both state and federal as a party with men of character and prestige.

In attendance was also the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung along side the entourage of Olorogun Gbagi and Prince Adebayo, the deputy governor of Delta state SDP guber, Mrs Rosemary Oshilim Ishioma, all graced the service at the word of life Bible church service just to handover the race, give honour to God whom honour is due and as well deliver a strong message to other parties that SDP has come to stay not just to take over.

In line with the vision and mission of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Gbagi in his magnomity with Prince Adebayo unveils a new befitting office at Asaba which indicates that SDP has come to stay and will definitely deliver progressive to Deltans and for the good of Delta state.
