Ahead of the Delta 2023 governorship race, governorship hopeful, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, the SDP flag bearer has welcomed thousands of decampees from different parties, especially from leading PDP, APC and others respectively.
It has become the order of the day as many faithful of both leading parties willingly swim over to now fastest growing SDP after witnessing the lamentations of the pensioners, youths and women and the devastating state of Delta.
Deltans have rejected any form of trick or anomalies from the ruling parties, be it PDP or APC that will crush any possible chances of growth or progress of their state and now decided to move up inorder to support a qualified candidate with the party where better life and hope us assured.
Majority of the supporters from Oleh in Isoko land spoke their mind as the turnout was like a tsunami and that in turn shows the total support of the Isoko people to Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi as one who actually has the capacity and knowledge to move the state to progress while others did same as well, hear them out …
The SDP National Chairman, South- South, Elder Fred Owoturufa in his statement said, “Why Kenneth Gbagi? Why SDP? Gbagi will deliver progress in Delta state.
“SDP means suffering will go away, sustainable development, employment for our teeming youths, solid and sustainable healthcare delivery, whatever will make life more meaningful for our people for Nigerians, functional education and infrastructure”.
Professor Atubi in his support speech in the language of the people also said, “Before you go see professors say na Kenneth Gbagi we want to support, no bi say we dey find wetin we go eat, we don already get wetin to eat but because say this state whether they like it or not, this state go must better”.
“Everybodi especially the youth in the university, a lot of our children for school no fit pay school fees because parents no get money, this stage no go fit continue, the only person wey go fit still manage the resources for us, get our youths off the street within the duration of one year wey he go enter office na Gbagi, SDP”.
Evang. Monica Azuka also in her speech delivered a touchy prayer of support and blessings to the governorship hopeful, Gbagi saying, “Anybody that will have bad mind against the coming of this Delta state governor may God open ground for that person to enter.
“Any area of our life that anyone of us need God, may the Almighty God visit us in Jesus name we pray. Amen”.
The Deputy Governor to be, Mrs Rosemary Oshilim Ishioma in her supportive style also made a remark to all women she said, “Our principal has made the right choice since inception by allowing women to exercise their voting right and have sense of belonging.
“SDP is the only party since inception that has given a woman a platform to become the Deputy governor, come 2023”.
Comr. Oke Idawene, the Delta SDP State Chairman went further to stress the fact that,
“Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi is not just an ordinary name but a household name in the state.
“Today is the day, Isoko is standing for Gbagi, Gbagi no come spend his money for Delta state, the man no dey hungry, na him he waka come enter SDP now, SDP get meaning, Broom no get life, umbrella no get life but SDP na white horse and signifies victory which means life and that shows Gbagi will win the governorship race”.
At the end, the industrialist and philanthropist, who is considered as the foremost Governorship candidate, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi concluded in humility with assurance of delivering progress to the people of Delta he expressed, “SDP Progress! We are not here to campaign yet but we have to do the needful because of the volume of the decampees.
“We have decided to come to receive them today, unless you give your house to somebody who can maintain the house, you are wasting your time.
“It is time for Deltans to start thinking of a businessman who knows how to change one kobo to two kobo to come and manage their affairs, we will provide free education for every Deltan.
“I have government which is the government of SDP we will make sure within 200 days we will pay all pensioners their money, we will have no reason for our people to suffer again.
“It is just that they fear Gbagi, that’s why they say, Gbagi strip girls naked, when I get six daughters, how can I strip girls naked, they went ahead to say again I get lion in my house, I have never seen a live lion so close before they say I don’t pay salaries which means I have companies that is why I dey fit get staffs. Let them go to their company, make we see wetin dey don do, no bi bad mouth!
When I see say dem no give me that ticket after I don work for seven (7) good years na him I take my bag come enter SDP because Delta state must be better.”
