After running Delta state aground with his petty politics of extreme vendetta, clannishness and shoddy projects, now with impunity to install a mediocre as successor, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is shamelessly aiming to be Vice President.
He is going nowhere. He is not worth being running mate to any presidential candidate, doesn’t deserve it. A man who has mortgaged the future of Delta generations unborn with mindless borrowing on the state treasury to swell his personal estates to the neglect of the common good.
A man who is borrowing and filtering what is being borrowed. He can claim he built a Secretariat. Is building a secretariat to accommodate a bloated civil service of teeming idle workers, jobless Aides, and appointees an achievement? He built a teachers institute, to train teachers he is not able to pay minimum wage, promotion arrears and pension benefits.
Okowa is such an empty, clueless and unstable politician. He is a disgrace to the Nigerian Medical Association. A trained doctor so attracted to mediocrity and failures.
A betrayer, chameleon politician. What was Okowa’s financial status before 1999?
All Okowa has today is undeserved wealth from the public treasury. Okowa aided least fit Sheriff Oborevwori to win a warped Delta PDP governorship primary, just to have a man-Friday to shield him from inevitable doom over his unaccountable superintendence over Delta’s commonwealth.
Okowa is mocking God with every little opportunity, ascribing his failures to God. He believes only Sheriff Oborevwori that can cover up for him. He will be so disappointed. He will so regret to realise it is foolhardy to think he can play God.
