The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has warned officers and men of the command against unprofessional conduct.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, said in a statement on Wednesday that Alabi gave the warning while addressing Heads of Departments and Sectional Heads in the Department of Finance and Administration at the command headquarters in Ikeja.
Ajisebutu said, “Concerned about rights of citizens, the CP further warned Heads of Investigation Sections against over detention of suspects in their custody, and that they must dispense criminal cases speedily.
“Similarly, he warned administrative office personnel and others to always manage information effectively and be guided by the oath of secrecy when handling official correspondence and other matters.”
