Anambra State Governor-elect, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo has condoled with Dr Cosmas Maduka; founder, President and Chairman of the Coscharis Group over the death of his wife, Mrs Charity Maduka, who is the Vice-President of the group.
In his condolence message, Governor-elect, Prof Soludo said the news of Mrs Maduka’s death came to him as a rude shock. He described the deceased as a true African mother who epitomises the virtues of humility, hardwork and trustworthiness in her life time.
He added that the late Mrs Charity Maduka also showed exemplary character of a good wife, a mother and an exceptional business partner, who partnered with her husband in building their vast multi-billion business empire, contributing immensely to its phenomenal growth and success.
Soludo therefore extends his profound condolences to Dr Cosmas Maduka and the entire Maduka’s family. He also prayed that God grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
Until her death, Mrs Charity Maduka was the Vice-President of the Coscharis Group from inception as the co-owner of the Company. Under her tutelage, she was able to grow the business into a multi-billion conglomerate with her husband via the various strategic departments she supervised within the organisation.
Mrs Maduka got married to Dr Cosmas in 1978 and the union produced three sons and a daughter.
She died on Saturday evening in Nnewi, Anambra State.
