Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), gubernatorial candidate for the November 6, Anambra governorship election, joined millions of Ndigbo within and across the globe to celebrate the 88th post-humous birthday of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu who died on November 4, 2011.

Cee Cee Soludo described the late Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu as a brave and courageous leader who was wholly committed to the cause and survival of the Igbo nation.

Soludo also said it is heart-warming and symbolic that Ojukwu’s post-humous birthday is being celebrated on the day of the official end of campaign for the Anambra governorship election and more fundamentally, the day the peace accord was equally signed by the gubernatorial candidates, subscribing to peace and violent-free election, in the Anambra governorship election billed to hold in the next 48 hours.

He acknowledged Ojukwu as a founding father and an eternal leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the Ndigbo identity political party whose ideologies are fully in alignment with the beliefs and philosophies of the late legendary leader.

Cee Cee Soludo therefore called on Ndi Anambra to uphold the legacies and ideals of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu by coming out enmasse to vote for APGA and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket on November 6, 2021 as a special post-humous birthday gift to the memory of Ojukwu, who gave everything he had to the cause of the Igbo nation.

He also prayed that God will continue to grant his soul eternal rest.

Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu was born on November 4, 1933 and died on November 26, 2011.
