It is a remarkable moment as the former Minister of education, the only viable PDP Governorship aspirant for Delta 2023, the people’s choice, Olorogun (Barr) Kenneth Gbagi with his keynote speech and his entourage today October 26, 2021 graced the 3rd Annual National Conference of faculty of social sciences themed: “National Security, Covid-19 and Social issues in Nigeria” held at the Town hall, Mallam Adamu Adamu of Lafia office and lecture complex permanent site of Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa state.
It may interest you to know that, many dignitaries like Emir of Lafia, 1. HRH Justice Sidi Bage Mohammad 1 (JSC) Rtd among others were present at the ceremony while the opening ceremony started with a warm welcoming address by the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia, Proffessor Shehu Abdul Rahman even as the staff and students already sitted to receive the keynote speech from one of the intellectuals in no ther person than Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi who also in his intelligence and integrity deliberately delivered smoothly his keynote speech as one who was part of the success story behind the establishment of this particular university among other 13 universities under one year of his tenure as Minister of education under the former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
As the keynote speaker, the former Minister of education, Olorogun Gbagi in his usual attitude of showing love for human capacity and growth in youths diligently delivered a powerful speech that will counter insecurity problem and proffer lasting solution that will dismantle security, Covid-19 and social problems confronting Nigeria as a nation.
It may interest you to know that, the man of many parts, people’s choice, come Delta 2023, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi as a security expert does not need any extra effort to solve the problem of insecurity in Nigeria as it is in-built.
To this end, the Vice Chancellor of Agriculture, Professor Shehu in his speech also commended all the attendees especially Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi who took out time to be present at this occassion to deliver his keynote speech and hope that the outcome of this conference will address permanently the major problems created by Covid-19 on National economy even as it identifies useful strategies to catalyze post covid-19 economic recovery from both public and private sectors inorder to create sustainable job opportunities for Nigerian youth and Nigerians in general.
