The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has asserted that the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State will prove the ” true indomitable Igbo spirit” to the opposition boasting to capture and take the state by force.

Cee Cee Soludo made this comment recently while holding a strategic session with the Local Government and Ward Coordinators of All Soludo Support Group, (ASSG), at the APGA campaign office, Awka, Anambra State.

Soludo had taken a swipe at the All Progressives Congress, (APC), on the unbridled comment made by some of its leaders to “capture and take” Anambra State by force (hook or crook) at the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Cee Cee Soludo had condemned the statement as an affront on the sensibilities of the good people of Anambra.

He stated that such brigandage and posturing will surely be resisted by Ndi Anambra who are known to be independently minded and highly politically sensitive.

Cee Cee Soludo therefore asserted that the governorship election will show the true test of the indomitable Igbo spirit of the Igboman that is unconquerable.

“We must rise up and resist such plans to hijack our State by these mercantile politicians who are more concerned about their “pockets” than the welfare of the people they are meant to serve,” Soludo cautioned.

Cee Cee Soludo therefore called on Ndi Anambra to shun every form of pecuniary inducements from unscrupulous politicians and vote massively for APGA as the true identity party of Ndigbo.

The Anambra governorship election is billed to hold on November 6, 2021 and the Soludo/Ibezim ticket is favoured by political pundits to win the election overwhelmingly based on the strength of APGA party in the State and the popularity of Soludo among the people!
