SOLUDO ATTENDS INAUGURATION OF EKWULOBIA DIOCESE CATHOLIC MEN ORGANISATION, CALLS FOR PRAYERS, FREE AND FAIR ELECTION IN ANAMBRA STATE!

Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance gubernatorial candidate and his wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo were warmly received at the St Joseph Cathedral, Ekwulobia, as both attended the inauguration of the Catholic Men Organisation (CMO), Ekwulobia Diocese, Saturday, October 2, 2021
Cee Cee Soludo congratulated the newly inaugurated men and wished them well in the service of the Lord and humanity.
He also used the occasion to call for a free and fair election in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state, adding that the future of the State will be on the line if the people do not participate in the political activities of the state.
He equally condemned the incessant killings in the state and asked the church to pray for Anambra State and the Nation
He donated the sum of N2 million to the body and for the projects being undertaken by the church
The official inauguration of the body was performed by His Lordship Bishop, Most Reverend (Dr) Ebele Peter Okpalaeke, Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese
The Chairman Organising Committee and Vice President of the Catholic Men Organisation, Hon. Ebelechukwu Nnofu said the significance of the occasion is to officially recognise the CMO as one of the statutory bodies in the church.
“The men are generally regarded as part of the pillars in the church. Today, the CMO is being recognised as one of the statutory bodies of the church.” He said
The occasion was chaired by Hon. Titus Anigbodu (Igwummba Aguata); and was graced by Hon Okey Okoye (Okey Di Okay), Member Representing Aguata, Anambra State House of Assembly with other top clergymen across the state!
