..If Anambra gets it wrong, Nigeria will feel it!

Excellence is a virtue. God, the creator of mankind, heaven and earth epitomises every meaning of the word, ‘excellence’.

The book of Genesis is very clear about this. It says at every creation of His work, …”and God saw that it was good”

Man was also made in the image and likeness of the Almighty Creator, so recorded the same book of Genesis. If we are made in God’s image and likeness why shouldn’t man strives for excellence.

Anambra is the “Light of the Nation”, a motto and creed that fully capture the eternal essence of a blessed State.

The culture of excellence is the guiding Light of Anambra state. It reflects in the people of the state and other human endeavours the people gets involved in, such as business, sciences, academics, governance etc.

For instance, Governor Willie Obiano has reflected and taken the ‘culture of excellence’ to a higher notch in his infrastructural development of the state and all-inclusive style of governance.

It is on the basis of this, that Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo humbly affirmed that APGA has a star-studded team (both in academic qualifications and experience) for the November 6, governorship election in the state.

This innocuous statement made by the APGA gubernatorial candidate at the Alex Ekwueme Square during the inauguration of the party’s Campaign Council Committee was not to disparage or denigrate others, but to buoyed up and ginger the people to keep the tradition of excellence alive in chosing their next governor.

Anambra state cannot afford to lower its standard for political exigencies. Standard must be maintained at all times!

Therefore let’s keep the standard and culture of excellence alive in Anambra State by supporting the APGA governorship candidate of Cee Cee Soludo and his deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, who no doubt, represent it.
