He expressed concern over the more than 60,000 uncollected PVCs in Gombe State and appealed for the active involvement of traditional and religious leaders in mobilizing citizens to participate fully in the CVR and to collect their PVCs.

In his response, the Emir assured the REC of the unwavering support of the Gombe Emirate Council and the Gombe State Council of Emirs and Chiefs. He directed all District and Village Heads, who were also in attendance, to summon religious and traditional leaders within their domains to ensure the sensitization message reaches the grassroots. The visit featured an interactive session with District and Village Heads, during which Dr. Idris responded to questions and clarified issues raised by the audience.
