The Police Service Commission (PSC) acquires a new recruitment portal as part of plans to decentralise the 2025 Police recruitment exercise. Following a consultative meeting in Abuja with recruitment desk officers from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory,

 

In a statement, the Commission announces that the platform will allow state officers to play key roles in the process. The Ministry of Police Affairs, Nigeria Police Force, and Federal Character Commission will also have access to the portal to ensure transparency, inclusiveness, and the prevention of corruption or nepotism.

PSC Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu (Rtd.), says the newly acquired portal will serve for the recruitment of both PSC staff and all categories of police officers, with state desk officers as primary stakeholders. He expresses confidence that this collaboration will protect the interests of all parties while delivering a police force the nation can be proud of.
