The Centre for Business and Economic Research (CBER) in the United Kingdom (UK) has honoured Professor Sa’adatu Liman, Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) with a fellowship award.

This is contained in a statement signed by Professor Ari Maikano, Acting Vice Chancellor of NSUK and made available to newsmen in Keffi local government area of Nasarawa state on Thursday.

 

Our Correspondent gathered that CBER is a global business and economic research centre founded in London in 2006 with the aim of inspiring, recognizing and supporting excellence in business and economic research.

 

According to the Maikano, the award was a testament to the exceptional leadership of the NSUK Vice Chancellor and for her outstanding contributions to the field of business and economics.

 

He added that the NSUK VC was honoured at the 14th International Conference on Restructuring of the Global Economy (ROGE) held at the Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK recently.

 

Maikano also pointed out that the ROGE-Oxford 2025 Conference organized by CBER had brought together scholars, industry experts, policymakers, and researchers from around the world to discuss pressing issues related to business and economic development.

 

“Our Vice Chancellor’s recognition at this esteemed event is a reflection of her dedication to advancing knowledge and promoting sustainability in the global economy.

 

“Notably, her paper presentation titled “Leadership Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in organisational success: Perspectives from Leaders and Followers” showcased her expertise and thought leadership in the field.

 

“This achievement highlights her commitment to institutional leadership in higher education, both nationally and internationally. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Vice Chancellor on this remarkable achievement,” he added.

 

He further added that her award is not only a testament to her individual excellence but also a reflection of the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, research, and academic excellence.

 

“We are proud to have our Vice Chancellor represent our institution on this prestigious platform, and we look forward to her continued contributions to shaping the global economic landscape,” it added. END
