Presently, the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Federal Republic of Benin has decided to go on joint trade framework.
This both countires plan as a bold step to further strengthening regional trade ties and economic integration inorder to eliminate trade bottlenecks while facilitating economic development, and create new opportunities across both countries.
The agreement was reached at a high-level meeting held at the Ministère de l’Économie et des Finances, Cotonou, Benin Republic, on Saturday. The session brought together senior government officials, Customs chiefs, and trade experts from both countries to chart a collaborative path toward efficient cross-border trade.
