
The federal government says it remains committed to strengthening Nigeriaās health workforce through strategic public, and private partnerships as the federal ministry of health and social welfare signs a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the federal medical centre Owo, and the achievers university, Owo, Ondo state.
Minister of state for health and social welfare, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako says the MOU will allow some selected institutions to utilize facilities at FMC Owo for the clinical training of its medical and allied health students which also aligns with president Bola Ahmed Tinubuās renewed health agenda, which prioritizes collaboration between the public and private sectors to bridge the critical shortage of health workers in the country.
