
The senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force are currently appearing before the Force Disciplinary Committee over various pending disciplinary issues. The committee seats two weeks at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
A statement by the force indicates that the Disciplinary Committee is tasked with reviewing cases of alleged professional misconduct, ethical violations, and breaches of conduct involving officers from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police and above. The affected officers, drawn from commands and formations nationwide, are undergoing a thorough and transparent process in line with police regulations and disciplinary procedures, ahead of recommendations to the Police Service Commission.
