HOW DSS- SHINKAFI VOLUNTEER FORCES NEUTRALIZE NOTORIOUS BANDIT COMMANDER KACHALLA YELLOW DANBOKOLO ALONG WITH HIS 173 LOYALISTS

The Department of State Services says there is widespread jubilation across Zamfara and parts of the Northwest as Shinkafi Volunteer Forces kill notorious bandit commander, Kachalla Yellow Danbokolo, in a fierce weekend operation.

In a statement, the DSS confirms that over 173 bandits loyal to Danbokolo are also neutralized in the surprise assault, marking one of the deadliest blows against organized banditry in the region.

Danbokolo, widely feared across the Northwest and considered even more dangerous than his cousin, Bello Turji, reportedly dies from gunshot wounds sustained during the attack. Residents of Kurya District in Shinkafi LGA, who have endured months of his reign of terror, celebrate his death with dancing and thanksgiving, calling it long-awaited liberation.

While the Department of State Services remains officially silent, local sources suggest covert support in the operation. Turji’s loyalists are said to be in disarray, with some seeking surrender. Farmers in affected communities express renewed hope for a safe planting season, commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what they call a decisive intervention.
