Senate has condemned the recent massacre of innocent lives in Yelewata community of Benue state.
The lawmakers also expressed deep sadness on the killing of travellers, on their way to a wedding, in Mangun, Plateau state.
Senate commended the prompt response of the President to the Benue incident in particular the establishment of ranches to bring to an end the farmers herders clashes.
It also called for compensation to families of victims of the mangu killing as a minute silence was observed in honor of victims of both unfortunate events.
