This morning, we began the state-wide visit from Brass Local Government Area and I took the opportunity to travel through Kiberi river, by the asphalted portion of the ongoing Nembe-Brass road project. This in fact, made the journey shorter as that historic road inches closer to Brass Island.

During my visit in company of my dependable Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and other top government officials, I appreciated the King, HRM Alfred Diete-Spiff and the people of Brass LGA for their warm reception and for standing by us during the last gubernatorial election irrespective of party affiliations.

I reaffirmed my commitment to the completion of the Nembe-Brass road and appreciated the current Federal Government for the award of the 2nd phase of the road project.

In my response to the only request made by the people, I have directed the Commissioner for Health to initiate a process for the comprehensive renovation of the Twon-Brass General Hospital to improve healthcare delivery in the area.
