STOP THE LIES: DELTANS ARE BLEEDING WHILE THE GOVERNOR’S MEDIA AIDES PLAY PR GAMES

While Deltans live in fear, with kidnapping cases skyrocketing in places like Oshimili North and Ika South, one of the Governor’s media team by name Ossai Ovie Success shamelessly parades Premium Trust branch openings at Effurun, Delta State as evidence of SECURITY and PROSPERITY. This insult to the INTELLIGENCE of our PEOPLE and RESIDENTS OF DELTA STATE must be called out.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori may personally be a man of good heart, but those around him have chosen deception over truth. At a time when Delta citizens cry for safety, better POLICING, and FUNCTIONING SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE, his MEDIA AIDES are busy SPREADING EMPTY PROPAGANDA.

How dare they claim “Delta is safe for investments” when:

• The tracking system installed by former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan lies abandoned INSIDE GOVERNORS OFFICE.

• 98% of POLICE STATIONS across the state have no functioning patrol vehicles OR COMMUNICATION DEVICES?

• Delta State Police Command Asaba, cannot radio Warri axis due to poor security infrastructure while the existing one at the Police Command got spoil few months ago and there no available funds as low as N400,000 (four hundred thousand naira) to fix it for almost a week. Do you know how dangerous this is if our police are not properly equipped for communication daily?

• The Delta Trust Fund meant to boost security is underutilized and underfunded despite we have huge security votes monthly allocated.

• There is no AI-powered CCTV network monitoring UNGOVERNED territories.

• Security agents remain poorly equipped and given weekly or monthly incentives by state or Local Government Chairmen with exemption of Aniocha North Chairman and few others who take them seriously. This lack of motivation gives criminals platforms to operate freely cause security agencies will not use their blood to work for us.

This is not just incompetence — it is betrayal.

Rather than support those who raise awareness, like myself did as SSA on Civil Societies and NGOs, alongside my colleague Harrison Gwamnishu, they chose to threaten and silence me. I was forced to resign so I could speak the truth without restraint for the interest of the people and residents of Delta State. And I will not stop.

Delta does not need photo ops and press quotes. Delta needs protection, TRUTH, and BOLD LEADERSHIP. The people are not fools — and come 2027, those who chose image over INTEGRITY will answer to us all.

Let it be known: My loyalty was never to a title. My loyalty has always been to the PEOPLE and RESIDENTS of Delta State. And no AMOUNT of MEDIA WHITEWASHING can cover the BLOODSTAINS of a GOVERNMENT that REFUSES to face REALITY.
