NELFUND Convenes Key Stakeholders in a Groundbreaking 5-Day Engagement and Technical Workshop
Over the course of five impactful days in Abuja, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) brought together leaders from across Nigeria’s tertiary education sector including Vice Chancellors, Rectors, Provosts, Registrars, Bursars, Directors of ICT, student union leaders, and development partners for a high-level Stakeholders Engagement and Technical Workshop.
This historic event was designed to foster collaboration, build institutional capacity, and prepare all stakeholders for the seamless implementation of the NELFUND Student Loan Scheme.
Why it mattered:
1. First-of-its-kind unified engagement under the Student Loan Act.
2. In-depth technical sessions on data sharing, verification systems, and digital readiness.
3. Cross-sector collaboration for efficient and transparent loan disbursement.
4. Shared vision for equity, access, and digitally powered education financing.
From policy deep-dives to system integration strategies, this workshop affirmed one thing – Digital transformation and stakeholder alignment are key to delivering impactful student loans and educational reforms that work for all.
