MINISTRY OF DEFENCE IN HIGH-LEVEL ENGAGEMENT IN CHINA TO BOLSTER NIGERIAN DEFENCE CAPABILITIES 

In a significant move to enhance Nigeria’s defence capabilities, the Minister of State for Defence Bello Muhammed is participating in a high-level security meeting with a Chinese manufacturer of advanced anti-terrorism and high-tech defence equipment.

The engagement will formalize a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chinese firm and the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria.

This partnership is expected to enhance  investments in Nigeria’s defence infrastructure, with a comprehensive partnership that includes Technology Transfer and Establishment of local manufacturing capabilities for advanced military equipment.
