The defectors who announced their decision on Wednesday afternoon include three lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)—Hon. Donald Okogbe (Akoko-Edo Constituency II), Hon. Bright Iyamu (Orhionmwon Constituency II), and Hon. Sunday Ojiezele (Esan South-East)—as well as Hon. Richard Edosa (Oredo West) from the Labour Party (LP).

Adetutu noted that this remarkable achievement is evidence of Jarrett’s exceptional leadership acumen, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to our party’s ideals.

She added that Tenebe’s ability to foster a culture of inclusivity, unity, and progress within our party has been instrumental in driving our growth and success. The fact that these four lawmakers have chosen to join our party is a resounding endorsement of your leadership and a clear indication of the APC’s growing strength and popularity in Edo State.

As we celebrate this milestone, I urge you to continue leading our party with the same level of passion, dedication, and strategic thinking that has brought us to this point. Your leadership has been a game-changer for our party, and I have no doubt that we will continue to achieve greatness under your guidance.

Once again, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on this outstanding achievement. May our party continue to flourish and make meaningful contributions to the development of Edo State and Nigeria as a whole, Adetutu said.

Congratulations!
