Federal Government says with ongoing reforms and interventions to strengthen the grid, Nigeria will surpass the current peak generation and transmission of power.
Nigeria’s power sector recently celebrated six thousand and three mega watts of power on the grid, the historic milestone which the Managing Director of Niger Delta Power Holding Company, Jennifer Adighije affirms the federal government will accelerate the feat to ensure availability of electricity.
At an engagement with women professionals in the power sector, to celebrate international women’s day, industry players believe that in line with this year’s theme, “accelerating action”, women in the sector are positioned to contribute significantly in addressing challenges across the value chain of the power sector.
