The President of United States of America, Donald Trump has fired Paul Martin, inspector-general of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), following his report criticising the White House for dismantling the agency.
This termination of his appointment was contained in an email disclosed from the deputy director of the office of presidential personnel on Tuesday evening.
Its content reads, “Terminated, effective immediately.”
However, it was recalled that Joe Biden, the former US president, was the one that appointed Martin as USAID inspector-general in December 2023.
