Delta State, Nigeria – On Saturday, June 22, 2024, a team of 17 healthcare personnel and volunteers from the Maden Healthcare Foundation, Delta State Chapter, collaborated with the family of the Late Chief Dr. Godwin Ogoye Okparavero to organize a medical outreach at Okpara Waterside in Ethiope East Local Government Area.

This event was sponsored by the Okparavero family in honor of the 15th memorial anniversary of the esteemed Chief.

The outreach provided medical care to 127 individuals, addressing a range of health conditions including malaria, peptic ulcer disease, upper respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, scabies, ringworm, helminthiasis, hypertension, and diabetes. Additionally.

The event featured eye screenings, with 53 participants receiving free eyeglasses, and dental screenings, where 21 individuals underwent scaling and polishing procedures.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Maden Healthcare Foundation and the Okparavero family to improving healthcare access and outcomes for communities in Delta State.
