9th Anniversary of Lagos Food Bank Initiative: Commmissioner for Agric and Food Systems, Olusanya Represents Gov. Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, was represented by the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, at the Lagos Food Bank Initiative’s 9th anniversary and the launch of their 3rd warehouse.

This event highlights Mr Governor’s continuous support for initiatives that ensure vulnerable individuals across the State have access to food.

The State Government has been proactive in addressing food security matters through the implementation of the Ounje Eko Food Discount Market, Farmers’ Support Programme to boost domestic production, establishment of the Central Food Security Systems & Logistics Hub and Mid Level Agroproduce Hubs, aimed at improving food storage, preservation, and distribution in the State.
