Ahead of the forthcoming 47th birthday anniversary celebration, commissioning of constituency projects, and empowerment of his constituents, the Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, OON earlier today distributed some household items, money and other gifts to the elders in all the four hundred and ninety – seven (497) pulling units in Ikwo/ Ezza South Federal Constituency.
Handing over the items to the different representatives from the constituency, Ogah instructed that the items are not expected to be diverted to people that can afford them, it should be given to those they are targeted at. He noted that life is all about priority and he devised a method to ensure elders in their different villages have something to keep the body and soul together, especially during this period of his birthday celebration.
“Our aged fathers and mothers in the villages are the ones who keep their voter’s card intact and since I cannot reach all of them individually, those selected people mobilized to visit them should ensure each person benefits”.
“What I am offering them as tobacco is windows mite but I am certain many of them would value it more than those employees that I attracted federal jobs from my constituency”.
Ogah appreciated them for always making his dream come true and asked them to thank God with him for the new opportunity and his new age this year.
He further said that the tobacco and other items he disbursed are the tip of the iceberg. The main celebration is coming up on Sunday, the 2nd of June, 2023 as he would mark his birthday celebration at Item Amagu in Ikwo Local Government Area.
