Former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Kingsley Moghalu, has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The 58-year-old had previously left the Young Progressive Party (YPP) after his underwhelming performance as a candidate in the 2019 presidential election.

He announced his new party on Friday, October 8, 2021 declaring his faith in the ability of Nigerian youths to re-engineer Nigeria’s economy.
“I ask all my politican supporters to join the ADC,” he said.
Moghalu has previously announced that he will participate in the 2023 election, running on a four-point agenda code-named ‘SWAG’.
