The Federal Government applauds Team Nigeria’s remarkable performance in the recently concluded 13th African Games in Ghana, securing second place on the medals table with 47 gold, 33 silver and 40 bronze medals.
Minister of Sports Development, Sen. John Owan Enoh, delivering President Bola Tinubu’s congratulations, hailed the athletes’ commendable achievements, noting their significant contribution to Nigeria’s sporting prominence on the continent.
As preparations begin for the 14th African Games in Egypt 2027, Enoh emphasises the importance of immediate planning to enhance Nigeria’s performance.
He pledges ongoing support for the welfare of Nigerian athletes.
