A statement by the Executive Director of the award winning women advocacy group, Emem Okon, said ” Kebetkache envisions a society where girls will have the power to influence government spending and policy, establish the standards and guidelines that enterprises must follow, and set the agenda for innovative ideas and new research.”

The ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ???????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????? focuses attention on the need to address the challenges girls face and to promote girlsโ€™ empowerment and the fulfilment of their human rights.

Emem Okon in the statement said Girls have the ???????????????????? to a safe, educated, and healthy life, not only during these critical formative years, but also as they mature into women. “Girls are breaking boundaries and barriers posed by stereotypes and exclusion, including those directed at children with disabilities and those living in marginalized communities.”

The statement also explains that “Every one of the 17 goals depends on achieving ???????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????????’???? ????????????????????????????????????????????. We cannot achieve justice and inclusion, inclusive economies, and environmental sustainability for present and future generations unless we guarantee the rights of women and girls across all the goals.”
